Seagate Data Recovery (ST1000DM003)

Opened a Seagate 1TB (ST1000DM003) because the drive had a mechanical issue. After opening the drive in our Clean Room, we realized the top platter was clean as well as the read/write heads. There was no damage. The issue can be media degradation, severely bad unreadable sectors, or media damage that is new and just developing. Let’s continue working on the drive.
