Seagate (ST9500325AS) Clean Room Recovery

Customer mailed in a Seagate ST9500325AS drive. The drive was dropped and making clicking sounds.

After Diagnosis: We opened the drive cover in our Clean Room and the top visible platter was clean. We removed the read/write heads and inspected head 0 under the microscope and its clean, no traces of contamination. We were able to recover 99.99% of the customers data.
