Western Digital Data Recovery (250GB)

Customer brought in an already opened Western Digital 250GB drive. They mentioned the drive had a mechanical issue. The drive was opened in another country. We opened the drive in our Clean Room. The top/visible platter had small visible scratches as well as a bunch of microscopic scratches. We may have a chance to recover the data from the bottom platter, if that one isn’t damaged. 🔬
