Opened a Western Digital 2TB (WD20NMVW-11AV3S2) drive in our Clean Room because the drive had mechanical issues. We were unable to read from platters 6 and 7. There were noticeable scratches on platter 7. Time to look for a donor to move forward with a head swap.
